Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Thins

Ingredients
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Butter and flour a 9 by 13 by 1½-inch sheet pan.
  3. Melt the butter and chocolate chips together in a medium bowl over simmering water.
  4. Set aside and allow to cool for several minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, stir together the eggs, vanilla, and sugar.
  6. Stir the warm chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and allow to cool to room temperature.
  7. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  8. Add to the cooled chocolate mixture. Pour batter into the prepared sheet pan.
  9. Spoon the peanut butter over the top of the chocolate mixture and use a knife to swirl it through the chocolate mixture.
  10. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Serve warm or allow to cool thoroughly, refrigerate, and cut into large squares.
