Asian Slaw With a Kick

Ingredients
  • 1 medium head of purple cabbage shredded
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 can of mandarin orange slices drained
  • 4 green onions sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • ¼ cup mayo
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Asian red chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • sesame seeds (optional garnish)
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together mayo, soy sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, honey and sesame oil.
  2. Once dressing is smooth (no lumps), add cabbage, bell pepper, mandarins, green onions and cilantro.
  3. Use tongs to gently combine salad ingredients with dressing at the bottom of the bowl.
  4. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds.
